What a great week, we started by playing "pest control" and eliminated bugs bugs bugs from our list, then we decided to play with some varmints and ended up taking out badgers badgers badgers.

Hear Ye Hear Ye!!! [url=../]Five Rings[/url] has been up to all kinds of things lately. We've explored into the House of Thule and are continuing to work diligently as we ready to start checking off notable accomplishments. We have been moving at a very rapid pace since the release of the new expansion and we look forward to meeting new, skilled, and exciting players that are looking to join the 5R Family. We pulled together some folks on our normally "lightest" raid night, took down Guardians and then paid a visit to the Queen. After making one key change to our strategy, she went down with nearly flawless execution. Congrats on all your hard work Five Rings!!!

Now that we've shed our Christmas colors for our usual hues, we're kickin' ass and takin' nameds! Yes, that's what I said, TAKIN' NAMEDS!!!

While we're constantly farming the Tick Tock event in House of Thule, we're also making great strides in Underfoot events. Guardians event was a win over the Holidays, you could call it our own special Christmas present to ourselves. We then steamrolled the Queen, what a flawless run that was! And now, just a few days after our win on the Queen, we've downed the Deconstruction trial in Brell's Temple. We had so much fun, the raid was screaming for blood after the second try, begging for one more chance tonight to get the event done and yet another first win under our belts, and they didn't let us down, for sure!

Next on the menu is Death Beetle. Wonder if it will be as much fun as tonight's Deconstruction event?!?!? Don't forget, there's bonus DKP given on first wins, so BE THERE!

Congrats FIVE RINGS on this fine win. I won't lie, this was painful ... but, we forged this together through great teamwork, a lot of patience, and, yes a few rezz's along the way! ... That opens up TIER3 HoT next, with a hoard of keys under our belts, we head there this week ... more updates soon!

While our focus has been breaking into TIER3 HoT and farming keys, we spent an evening storming the bridges of the First Creation in Convorteum. After the loss of many comrades in the initial push, we did manage to defeat the event our very first night. We will certainly be back there every week now farming pieces of the Coldain Shawl.

Just a quick update as to what we've been up to the last few weeks, the screenie, below, tells the story. Over the last week, we jumped into World's End to have a chat with Al'Kabor. While he remains undefeated thus far, check back soon to see the WIN!. We continue to farm Library, Well, Torches, Upper House, and some other light raids every week. At every opportunity, we clear Convorteum to collect the heads of the First Creation to complete Coldain Shawl quests for all those tradeskill fanatics in-guild.

FIVE RINGS has vanquished 22 NEW EVENTS since the expansion release of HoT, placing us in great position to polish off the last 11 remaining in the game. We currently have a great balance between farming, dedicating prime time towards progression, and still maintaining a life outside the game =) Numbers have been excellent, boasting a small wait channel every evening.

This event was challenging to be sure. With the banner planted firmly in the ground; our dwarves planted firmly on the front lines, two evenings on phase 2 brought us victory. We even managed to strip half a level off Luxem along the way.

Expansion release is an exciting time for EQ and a busy time for FIVE RINGS. Taking a very few days to level up, we had two wins 5 days in (Shard's Landing Win + the first ToV Dragon). The next week, we farmed them again, plus a handful more dragons. Week three yielded farms on all above plus a WIN for Crystal Caverns (results, below)...
